This was my first time on an outfitted hunt. It might be a little more expensive than a "do it yourself hunt" but once you've tried it, it is well worth the money. All the work is done for you, you just have to show up and hunt!! Doug and Becky Bush were excellent hosts at their Lodge. The Lodge was very comfortable with a great laid back atmosphere. Becky will make sure you never go hungry!! Darrin Bradley, IMB owner, is a one of a kind character. You will just have to book a hunt and see for yourself! All the staff and guides are extremely polite, knowledgeable and very respectful of the hunters at the Lodge. All the guides go to great lengths and put in long days to try and make every hunters' trip truly a successful one. I was their very first Canadian to book a whitetail hunt with IMB but everyone made me feel right at home as an honorary Missourian!! On my trip, I did not get an opportunity to harvest a buck but I still went home with a smile on my face and a reserved hunting week for next year. Nevertheless, I was able to harvest a beautiful doe and as my guide Brandon Johnson would say, “I reckon that’s a big ol’ Mule-headed doe!!” Brandon was a great guide and a down right great guy. I also have to tip my hat to John Frala, great guy as well. He kept me entertained with hunting stories and his excitement and passion for hunting during the trip to and from the airport. There were maybe 12 to 14 hunters during the week of my stay at the Lodge but none were getting shot opportunities at shooter bucks. The bucks were just being bucks....unpredictable!! I think the weather was the determinant of the deer behavior. The deer activity seemed to pick up quite a bit by the end of the week. During the whole week, I saw roughly 80 to 90 deer from the stands anywhere from 4 to 400 yards away. We saw as many deer driving to and from the stands as well. Also saw roughly 40 turkeys during the week but never had a shot opportunity on them either. Each stand I was placed in had the magical feeling that a buck of a lifetime could show up at any moment. The hunting setups and hunting country is just beautiful. I met some great hunters, some that I have kept in contact with after the hunt. I am truly looking forward to my trip next fall. Hunting outcome aside (even though this time I’m hoping to tag out on a P&Y), I know I will have a great time with a great group of people!

I had a very rewarding expereince both hunting and the interaction with the guides, lodge staff and fellow hunters. It was everything I hoped it would be and more and I came away with a few new friendships and a 155 class buck was the cherry on top. thanks for the great expereince from a guy who has been bowhunting for 38 years see ya next year.

What an trip! If your looking for a first class time look no further. Exactly as I hoped for. Look no further if you want a first class experience! TJ was my guide and very professional and thorough. This was my first trip with an outfitter and was not disapointed. My dad and I both harvested good deer on the first day of our hunt. Becky and her family really do an excellent with taking care of the hunters. Thanks again to our guide Rob for putting us on great deer. We saw deer every time we were on the stand. This is definatly a trip my dad and I will never forget and we look foward to seeing everyone again next year.

This was a great hunting experience, awesome tree stand locations and I saw lots of deer,I only hunted for 3 days and I wished I could’ve stayed longer, maybe next time. Mr Bradley definitely knows his stuff and God has blessed him.

Great experience. I read some of the negative reviews prior to going on the trip. None of them are true. The lodge was great, the food was awesome and the guides worked hard. My guide Kurt put us on deer everyday. I will be back.

We have a group of about 10 hunters that have hunted with IMB for the last 3 years in a row. Even though only 2 of us have killed bucks, we still keep coming back. That should tell you something about the quality of the people and service that work for and with IMB. Clint Bell has been my guide for the last 2 years and has worked his tale off to get me on a shooter, and he has several times, but its real huntin’ and we just haven’t closed the deal yet, but clint is an awesome guide, he’s the first to introduce me to the comfy cod 2000, it really helped me stay in the woods longer. Tyler and the rest of the gang are great and so much fun to hang out with. The food and accomodations are top notch. I can’t wait ’til next year. To the illinois gang “Powder-UP and keep ‘em cool”
